Linear Equations in One Variable

What do you mean by equations?

Answer. The equations are the statement of equality.

What do you mean linear?

Answer. The word ‘linear’ comes from the word ‘line’ which is a straight line. The linear equations are the equations that represent a line.

Linear equation

What is transposition?

Answer. The process of transfer of the terms of equations from one side to the other, is called transposition of terms of an equation.
